Conn becomes the apprentice of the cranky wizard Nevery. He figures out that someone is stealing the magic of the town. Even though there is a map and appendices, this story never really came together for me.
Veronica McCreedy, #1. A crabby old lady goes to Antarctica to see a penguin research station, even though the scientists there told her stay away as they didn't have facilities for tourists, much less an 86 year old person. Very heart-warming story.

I was hoping this was going to be girls, but instead, it is about a guy who is building bombs to blowup everyone who ever crossed him. Nameless goes fishing in the mountains. Of course, the bomb-guy is there.
Written with Barry N. Malzberg of twenty-five stories. Some were enjoyable, some were not of the kind I care for. I liked the Luna immigration inspector stories the most.
The Nameless Detective investigates why a reclusive woman leaves her job in the city and returns, secretively, to her father's farm. Nameless is nearly killed by the reason, of course.
