Quarry goes to a small town to knock off some guys who were hired to knock off a pedophile dance instructor. Of course this is going to be a LOT more than that!

Nolan #5-6. Consisting of the novels Hard Cash and Scratch Fever. A pretty good ride, great climax on the second story. Wow!

Good thing I checked for duplicate authors, I already read a book by this guy. Anyway, this a a great noir crime book, and it's a twofer, the first two books of the Nolan series.

Who is the disguntled-looking blond in the, uh, bikini?, on the cover smoking a cigar after lightening it with paper money?? I'm guessing it is Sherry.

In the fourth book Gregor goes on a expedition with Luxa to help the mice. The series is moving faster and faster, I wonder how many books will there be all told? I am becoming more and more enchanted, too.

The book after The Hunger Games, Katniss still can't figure out her romantic relationships, and the Capital makes her participate in another Games, with Peeta! How is she going to get out of this one! Oh yes, there will be another book!

Fifth book of the series. The action accelerates, Gregor wears out yet ANOTHER pair of shoes, and gets his first kiss. Whoops, SPOILER!

Gregor returns one again to the Underland to help find the cure to a plague that can kill every warm-blooded being there. Book three of the series.

Gregor returns to the Under Land to rescue his sister, but it turns out he has to fight a giant white rat instead. Or something like that. Book two of a series, enjoyable story.

In the first book of the series Gregor and Boots fall into a ventilation shaft that leads, strangely enough, to the Underland.

Third book in the series, kind of slow in the first half, but the killing picks up in the second.

Katniss fights for her life at the Hunger Games. I really enjoyed reading this and am looking forward to reading the next two books.

Twentyone stories of invasion by various authors, including the fabulous Pictures Don't Lie by Katherine MacLean. Very good stories. Pub. in 1952.

Vernon reluctantly helps out an alcoholic mother and her mentally-handicapped son.

Harry investigates a Triad murder, then his daughter is kidnapped and he goes to Hong Kong to rescue her. Eleanor is killed, the daughter is rescued. What goes on in Hong Kong stays in Hong Kong, but nothing is what it seems. A real page turner.

Terry McCaleb and Harry Bosch figure in this story of a dead housepainter. More than I wanted to know about the painter Hieronymus Bosch. 418 p.

LAPD Dective Harry Bosch investigates a dead lawyer at the Angels Flight funnicular.

Dectective Harry Bosch ends up going to Mexico to solve the suicide of a fellow officer.

Retired FBI agent Terry McCaleb investigates a seemingly random murder of a woman. Excellent story!! Read again after seeing the movie, 8/2002
