The Infernal Devices, Book One. Good story of magic and such in Victorian London. Prequel series to the Mortal Instruments. I don't know if I want to read any more, though.

I read this a zillion years ago, and am so happy I read it again! This is classic, great science fiction, IMHO. A tourist tour "boat" becomes trapped under the dust in a lunar sea.

A rather good book about a guy named Sam who just got out of prison for accidentally burning down Emily Dickinson's home, and two people with it.

In 2044 gunter Wade competes in a massive virtual reality game. Crud, I meant to fix the title before I hit enter... It's supposed to be "one", not "1"!!
The witches protect the land from their hated neighbors, the Baen, but their power is questioned by young Ryder. A lot of yakking, but it's a pretty good story.

Dan is set-up to be caught in one of those television pedophile sting operations, and when he is murdered the TV reporter tries to find out what the heck is going on. Lots of twists and turns, as usual.
